Birmingham Quality is pleased to announce a brand new point-of-care (POC) EQA programme for HbA1c commencing in April 2020, as part of the Birmingham Quality POCT Suite.

If you are using a POC instrument for the monitoring or diagnosis of diabetes, participation in external quality assessment is vital for confidence in your decisions. It is strongly recommended by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency.
