Cable cutting and burst water main - update on 31 October 2008

We are advised that the excavations to repair the road should not now disrupt phone and fax.    Please continue to use tel +44 (0)121 414 7300 and fax +44 (0)121 414 1179 as normal.  Departmental email is working OK, but response may be slow.   Results and Reports and Interpretative comments are unaffected.  A new broadband line should be functional by the end of next week.  JGM 31/10/08
